Evangelization & Lifelong Faith Formation
Family Faith Formation
Growing in faith is an exciting life-long journey. St. Matthew Catholic Church offers opportunities to help parishioners of all ages continue to grow into a closer, intimate, and more vibrant relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Sacramental Preparation programs are available for First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. Students are required to be attending at least their second year of a catechetical program (e.g., faith formation or youth ministry). A modest fee is required. For families who can't afford the fees, they can be reduced or waived. Please don't let tight finances stop you from signing up. Students 7 or older and baptized Catholics are eligible for First Reconciliation and First Communion. Confirmation preparation occurs during Grade 10. Baptism of infants and children under age 7, contact the Pastor through the church office.
